VERMILLION COUNTY BID PACKAGES
NOTICE/INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPOSALS AND BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Vermillion County, Indiana, will receive sealed proposals & bids for the following:
VERMILLION COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
- Fuel-Gasoline: Unleaded, Diesel Fuel and Diesel Oil – BID
- Aggregate: Stone, Gravel and Sand – BID
- Transport Only Aggregate – Stone, Grave and Sand
- Corrugated Metal Pipe and High-Density Polyethylene Pipe, N-12. – BID
- Bituminous Materials: Contract renewal, Asphalt Materials, Inc
Sealed proposals and bids will be received at the Vermillion County Auditor Office, Courthouse 2nd Floor, 255 S. Main Street, PO Box 190, Newport, IN 47966-0190, until 9:00 A.M. E.S.T., on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Any bid received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids transmitted by facsimile machine or email will not be accepted.
Bids will be opened and read aloud at Commissioner Meeting (Start @ 9:30 AM) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 A.M. by the Vermillion County Commissioners.
Copies of the Instructions to bidders, the Specifications, and all necessary bid forms may be obtained from the Auditor’s Department 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday (except holidays or when otherwise closed by the County Auditor), or the county website.
The Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any Proposal, Bid, or portion of the Bid, and to waive any irregularities in the bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days, or as otherwise stated in the Contract Documents before awarding the contract.
All out-of-state corporations must have a certificate of authority to do business in the State. Application forms may be obtained by contacting the Secretary of State, State of Indiana, Statehouse, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
