Old State Road 63 bridge to temporarily close near Hillsdale
| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 1, 2025 Old State Road 63 bridge to temporarily close near Hillsdale VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a bridge closure on Old State Road 63 near Hillsdale in connection with a local project. Beginning on or after Monday, April 7, crews will close the Old S.R. 63 bridge over Little Raccoon Creek. During the closure, crews will be doing several types of bridge maintenance, including a bridge deck overlay and patching. Work is anticipated to last until mid-August but is weather-dependent and subject to change. The official detour around the closure is U.S. 36 to S.R. 63 to County Road 800 S. INDOT encourages drivers to seek an alternate route and to use caution while traveling around construction zones. |
