Paint (oil or latex-based)
For Latex Paints: Simply add sand or kitty litter to the can, mix well and let dry completely. Once dried, you can dispose of the can in your regular trash collection.
Tires
There is a special collection day in May for Tires!
Hazardous Waste
Includes household and farm chemicals
Contractor Loads from job sites are also prohibited
Acceptable Items
NO Charge for – Appliances, Water Heaters, Furniture, Automotive Batteries, most Electronic Equipment, and debris.
There will be a $5 CHARGE for all MATTRESSES and BOX SPRINGS.
There will be a $10 charge for CRT televisions, and CRT monitors less than 27 inches. Larger CRT televisions and floor-model projection TVs will be $25. (CRT TVs have large old-style tubes in the back.)
Recycle Material Options
We will also be accepting the following items for Recycling:
Dry CARDBOARD, PAPER & MAGAZINES, ALUMINUM, CLEAN GLASS & METAL CANS, and PLASTICS with the codes of #1 – #7
ALL recyclables need to be EMPTY, CLEAN and DRY
No plastic bags or plastic film
